Ever watch Gossip Girl?
Then you know Blair Waldorf. She is the kind of best friend you want as your friend and NOT as your enemy. She is the most loyal and kind-hearted person ever, but start a war with her, and you might as well just surrender- less bloodshed.
Abby is that person. She is one of the most amazing people I have had the pleasure to get to know in life. I had just moved to Atlanta and just met her, yet she swept me under her wing and treated me like one of her friends she had known for years. She immediately included me in their (her and her group of friends) Blue Ridge Mountain Trip plans which fell on my birthday weekend. This lady even asked what kind of cake I wanted her to make.
Side story: every year I ask for the same birthday cake I had at my fourth birthday party. A homemade carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. BONUS POINTS if it is in the shape of the Easter Bunny.
Every year, my family would never make that said cake. Small request, huge disappointment. I literally became obsessed with getting that damn cake every. Fucking. YEAR. I meet Abby, and she made it within the first two months of knowing me, and I still don’t think she understands just how much that cake, that was devoured over the weekend, truly meant to me. She is a very kind-hearted person.
Abby invited me to Vegas and then moved mountains for me to get there. I had just moved to Atlanta, ya’ll, and knew nobody who would “freely” watch my pups. Yet- I had just had this life epiphany and wasn’t saying NO to adventures anymore. She made her boyfriend watch my dogs so I can go to Vegas and party my ass off with her. It was the best girls weekend I had ever had in my life.

Abby continues to impress me with how genuine she is to me and I can not begin to EVER tell her just how much I really appreciate her love and kindness she has shown to me.
I believe everyone comes into your life for a reason, and I know she is pivotal in my life. Going to Paris to visit her and explore is going to be such a life-changing adventure, I can not wait to see what unravels once I arrive in Paris. I also can not wait to see what adventures life will take her and me on.
